Peace@Work is a membership based non-profit agency. Members of the organization are comprised of a
coalition of organizations and businesses called Employer for Violence Prevention (E4VP).

The goal of Employers for Violence Prevention is to promote healthy and safe
workplaces, free from the threat and impact of violence.

Public Recognition

As Peace@Work promotes Employers for Violence Prevention at every public awareness event and presentation, at every conference workshop and at all the speaking engagements, your organization and/or business will be recognized as a leader in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.

Your organization and/or business will be prominently displayed the Employers for Violence Prevention webpage, see above.

Every new member of Employers for Violence Prevention will be recognized in our monthly e-newsletter, which has subscribers from professionals across the nation in the private, academic and public sectors.

Access and Discount on Services

A 10% discount on services is available for all members. Whether it is policy and program consultation or professional development training for staff, this benefit alone can usually cover the cost of membership.

Peace@Work will also be readily available to offer support and answer questions that you may have about preventing and managing potential violence in the workplace. For our members, we will strive to provide quick and valuable response to support our common mission- the commitment to a safe workplace.

Valuable tools and resources

A monthly e-newsletter that offers the most recent information on workplace violence, its prevention, occurrence and impact. This report is read across the nation for its data on the latest research and reports from academic and government institutions, the record of current tort and criminal cases and a list of workplace violence incidents that have occurred in the last month.

A security assessment tool (MS Excel database) can determine the relevant level of security in your workplace. Divided into topics such as physical deterrents, work procedure vulnerabilities and employee concerns, this resource will provide a stepping point for deeper analysis of workplace safety.
